Hi, I'm Sarah Fennell-Cooper!

A child development specialist and expert in preschool coach training. And the self-appointed champion of your preschool gym program. I started Happy Gymnastics to help gym owners and directors create wildly profitable preschool programs.

Together, with my hubs, Chris, we get to parent three amazing girls and one giant dog, Oliver.

So why preschool gym programs? It’s simple. There’s nothing quite like the megawatt smile a preschooler breaks out every time they attend a class. The pure joy of preschool gymnastics has my heart.

What I love the most is that most of the kiddos won’t make it to team gymnastics. And yet, preschool kids rock up to gym classes every week for the pure love of the sport. That and the love of the pit. Obviously.

Preschool gymnastics is more than just learning how to forward roll. That’s not why parents are enrolling their kids into programs. What’s more important is connecting with their coach, learning new skills, having fun, staying busy, and making friends.

A lot goes into creating a preschool gym program. And preschoolers get a lot out of it. But in my experience, the biggest issue I see is gym owners and directors underestimating the revenue powerhouse preschool programs could and should be.

Preschool Gymnastics is the recurring revenue driver you didn’t know existed.

Your preschool program is the first experience families will have with your gym. Deliver on a fantastic preschool program and you’ll make a lasting first impression where parents willingly bring their kids back year after year, as they grow and move from preschool to rec.

The key to keeping your kids at your gym is the experience your coaches give.

If your preschool staff aren’t knocking their classes out of the park, you can bet your bottom dollar that they’ll be looking for a different experience. Maybe soccer? Don’t open yourself up to even more competition. Keep your preschool parents happy and they’ll keep coming back. And they’ll bring their friends too.

From the floor to behind the office door. And everywhere in between.

I’ve been in the gymnastics industry for over 20 years. In the 90s, I rocked a killer crushed-velvet leotard during my 10 years as a competitive gymnast in Canada. While my outfits are a little more subdued these days, I’ve been a Preschool Gymnastics Director in the U.S. and New Zealand, where I sharpened my philosophies, lessons, and strategies for growing preschool programs.

I spent five years as a Kindergarten classroom teacher and earned my Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, giving me a deep understanding of the developmental phases of early childhood education.

I’m proud to have helped hundreds of gym owners & preschool directors around the world use their preschool programs to grow their gyms.

And I’m here to help you too.

Success with your preschool program all starts on the floor, with your coaches.

Because the moment those preschool kids hit the floor, things can get weird real quick. It doesn’t become about how well you can do a forward roll. It’s all about managing children when things go sideways. Hot tip: things always go sideways. That’s the nature of little people learning to live in a big world.

Our mission at Happy Gymnastics is to help you create a thriving and wildly profitable preschool program.

Because you didn’t start your gym to spend all day creating lesson plans or training your coaches in early childhood development.

So hand it over to us. Check out our programs today >>
